The Wetland of Hong Kong

Well it’s our second time in Hong Kong this year and it is nice going back to a place you already know.
Since during our last visit we pretty much covered most of the main tourist attractions we were left with only several places to see and one of them was the Wetland Park. Continue Reading…

Amazing Thailand (and The Racha of course)

So… it’s been a while since we last posted but here we are, back in (the traveling) business.
For those of you who follow us we are on our route to Sydney which will be our home for the next couple of years.
Our first stop on the way was amazing Thailand – the home of the foot massage, beautiful beaches, fruit shakes and Phad Thai. Continue Reading…

Sunny Florida

After the crazy days in Vegas, we headed toward Florida to catch some sea & sun… We started at Florida City, went all the way down to the most southern point in the US and finished the trip basking Miami Beach. From crazy alligators to wounded sea-turtles – we have seen it all… Continue Reading…

Back To The Wild

After almost a week in the city (Sydney) we felt the need to go back to nature, at least for a day. We decided to go with Itamar & Shira to the Blue Mountains and on the way we used them as an excuse to go back to a wildlife park and feed some animals (since they never met any of Australia’s cute wombats, koalas, kangaroos etc…). So our day was actually divided between animals and nature – 2 things we love the most. Continue Reading…

Horse Riding in Paradise

If there is one thing we have been trying to do for a long time, it is the Paradise View horse riding in beautiful Glenorchy. Whether is was a bad weather or no spots available we always had some problems with it. Few days ago we were finally able to do this wonderful tour and we are glad to have done that. Continue Reading…

Dunedin’s Sweets, Wildlife & Landscapes

Chasing after the sun is not an easy task at autumn time in the southern island of NZ, yet somehow we have managed to get a glimpse of it in the last 2 days. With Dunedin being the only place with a sun over it in the weather map, we drove all the way there. It is a big city which has a great marine wildlife at its doorsteps and lots of other great views to offer. Continue Reading…

Wanaka Air Show

After getting back from Milford Track and resting a couple of days in Te Anau, we’d moved on to Queenstown and then reconnected with Shira & Itamar (whom we’d met on the track) in Wanaka and went together for the Air Show in the local airport. I’d managed to shoot over 800 photos in just a few hours, so this post is mainly for these of you who prefer just browsing through the pictures, rather than reading :) Continue Reading…

4 Seasons at the Milford Track

Yes, we did the Milford track. And yes, you bet we have tons of pictures to share with you.
Some of the people we’ve met before have defined it as a “walk in a park”… Well, I must say it was a pretty long and very wet park…

Of course, as you know me – it will take me a while to summarize a 4 day and almost 65 km (detailed distance calculations will obviously follow) track, so hope that I’ll be able to convey at least partly the excitement of it. Some tips are at the end as well. Continue Reading…

Getting Interactive With Kaikoura’s Marine Life

If  there is anything worth getting up for at 04:30 am –  it is certainly swimming with dolphins! Especially if there are ~300 of them just waiting to interact with you in the ocean. I admit that it wasn’t easy waking up so early and then putting on a wet-suit in the cold of the night/morning but once you see the first Dusky Dolphin you forget all about it… Continue Reading…
